My favorite almond flour to use is from @bluediamond. It's never oily, and it tastes amazing. 

🪙💰 To save some money, I recommend buying it in bulk, the 3lb bags at Sam's Club. They will last a lot longer than the smaller bags at your local grocery store.

🤬🤬 Making macarons can be a pain in the ass..Ifykyk 

I remember when I tried my first macaron at a casino buffet back in 2019. It was pistachio flavored, and it was absolutely delicious. 😋 

I thought, why not make these and add them to my menu? 

Of course, I went to YouTube University and watched millions of videos on how to make them. 

I thought, "How hard can this be? I've been baking since I was a kid. I've got this." 

I was hella wrong and in for a rude awakening. 

The very first batch was absolutely TRASH. 🗑 
The batter was too runny, the shells spread way too much, and they were SUPER fragile. Everything they weren't supposed to be.

But I practiced for almost a year, and I finally got it! 🥴🙃

So, over 4 years in the macaron game, I think I know a thing or two. And I can teach you how to master these finicky little dainty divas with some tricks and valuable tips.

If you struggle with making macarons, you are NOT alone...

🤬 You've spent months, wasted tons of ingredients, and used lots of curse words trying to make one of the most finicky cookies out there, French macarons. 

🥹 Trust me, fancy friend, I've been there, and I'm here to help you out with some tips on stepping your mac game up. 👇🏽

Here's how to avoid the 3 most common mistakes when making macarons using the French method.

1️⃣ OVERMIXING THE BATTER DURING MACARONAGE (can cause flat, cracked, wrinkled, or fragile macarons)
Once your dry ingredients are fully combined in the meringue, fold the batter and STOP immediately when it "ribbons" off of the spatula. It should look like a fairly thick cake batter. Test the batter  by making a figure 8 in your bowl. If you can do that with a steady flow, DO NOT fold anymore.

2️⃣ NOT RESTING THE SHELLS LONG ENOUGH (can cause cracked macarons/no "feet")
After piping the macarons, let them "rest" or dry before baking for at least 20-30 minutes in dry climates or 45 minutes -1 hour in humid climates. When you touch the top of the macs, they should be dry and have a less shiny look.

3️⃣ BAKING ON A HIGH OVEN TEMPERATURE (can cause cracked macarons, hard/ crunchy macarons, hollows, lopsided macarons) It's super important to invest in oven thermometers to know the true temperature of your oven and see if there are any hot spots in your oven. Most mac recipes bake at 300 degrees-low and slow.

3 tips on how to keep your cookies fresh while shipping. 🚚

1️⃣ Use air-tight bags or containers to prevent cookies from going stale. I make sure all of the air is let out before I heat seal my cookie bags for shipping. 

2️⃣ For summer weather, consider using insulated boxes or frozen gel ice packs to help maintain lower temperatures and prevent damage to your cookies from the heat. 

3️⃣ Use expedited shipping as an option for shipping cookies. This cuts down the time that your delicious cookies spend in transit. 1-2 day shipping is an ideal option.

Storytelling is one of the best ways to market your baking business. Especially using Instagram reels.

🖐🏾Here's 5 ways to do it: 

✔️Start the reel with a quick intro:
Begin your reel with a friendly and enthusiastic greeting. This sets the tone and grabs your audience’s attention right away.

✔️Show behind the scenes clips:
Include fun and interesting clips of your baking process. Show different parts of what you do. For example, show yourself mixing batter, packaging a customers order, or making a delivery.

✔️Add Text Overlays:
 Use simple questions on the screen to make your viewers think about their own stories. Examples:"Why did you start baking? or "What challenges have you faced? "What makes your desserts special?"

✔️Narrate or Use On-Screen Text:
